Does FieldPulse integrate with Xero?

Yes! Our team can walk you through the process of authenticating your Xero account to seamlessly integrate your Customers, Invoices, Quotes and Payments.


Can I use FieldPulse on my iPhone, iPad, or Android? Which devices are supported?

FieldPulse is supported on desktop computers, iPhones, iPads, Android phones, and Android tablets. Your account is synced across all devices, so you can use FieldPulse in the office or on the go.

To use FieldPulse on your computer, the WebApp can be accessed from any web browser (https://webapp.fieldpulse.com).

To use FieldPulse on an iPhone or iPad, simply download the FieldPulse mobile app from the App Store and log in with your credentials.

To use FieldPulse on an Android phone or tablet, download the FieldPulse mobile app from the Google Play Store and log in with your credentials.

Your team members can operate on different device types, i.e. iPhone or Android mobile phones. WebApp users can all be on the same team.

We need to change the number of people in our team. How will that work?

With FieldPulse, you only pay for the users you need — when you need them. We understand there may be times when you require more staff and other times when you may require fewer. Team members can be activated or deactivated as needed. Any applicable charges accrued will be prorated, so you only pay for the portion of the month that was actually used.

What are the different types of users?

There are three types of user roles you can assign to team members, depending on their role in your business.

- Admin

- Manager

- Service Agent

- Assignment Role (free)

Each user role comes with different permissions and capabilities within FieldPulse.

Admin

Receives full access to all Company Settings.

Manager
Creates and edits customers, jobs, and subtasks. Creates, edits, and sends estimates and invoices. Can view team schedules, status updates, and invoices, as well as all customers, team member geolocation tags, and team timesheets.

Service Agent
Updates assigned jobs and subtasks. Creates and sends estimates and invoices. Changes job status, attaches files, and adds comments. Can view assigned customer profiles and invoices from assigned jobs. Tracks individual time and timesheets.

Assignment Role
Assigned work by managers — for management purposes. Cannot log into the app. This is used for managers to be able to see who is assigned to what job.

Do you offer any discounted plans?

Yes! If you sign up for an annual plan, you'll receive 15% off your monthly fee.

How does FieldPulse's free trial work?

FieldPulse’s free trial lasts for 14 days and includes full access to the software with no features left out.After the trial period is complete, FieldPulse offers flexible plans to match your needs starting at $69/mo for the first user. Additional users begin at $15 per month depending on their role. You can register through our website, where you can also manage your additional team member accounts.

Can I store secondary contacts and contact methods for customer profiles?

Yes, FieldPulse allows you to add a secondary contact to both individual and company customer profiles, as well as alternate phone and email addresses for the primary contact.

My business has a complex team structure. Can we operate in teams?

FieldPulse is designed to accommodate both simple or advanced team structures. Whether you operate in multiple teams or a single team, each team can be run by a manager with various team members under their control. It also allows for possibility of bringing temporary subcontractors on as needed.

By offering various roles at various prices, you can fine-tune FieldPulse to your needs. You’ll never pay more for a certain user than you need to with the tiered pricing structure that’s available.

I don’t want certain employees to see certain financial/invoicing/billing information. Can I control that?

FieldPulse offers different roles for employees depending on the functions they need access to. From Managers to Subcontractors, FieldPulse has roles with varying permissions to align with your company structure.

If you don’t want an employee to be able to see or send out invoices, they would be assigned to the Subcontractor role, which does not allow them to see financial information. FieldPulse has a tiered pricing structure for different user types. Employees that don’t require access to all features have a lower monthly price than higher-level employees, meaning you can tailor FieldPulse to your current needs and make updates at any time.

Can I send both quotes and invoices?

Yes, FieldPulse allows you to create both quotes and invoices. FieldPulse allows you to create a quote for a customer and then quickly convert that quote to an invoice once the customer has approved the work. No need to recreate your quote as an invoice. 


What is FieldPulse?

FieldPulse is a business management software tool. FieldPulse is designed to help tradies manage their business, record their customer data, schedule jobs for employees, create invoices and quotes, track payments, and understand their business operations. FieldPulse can be accessed via mobile or computer.

What if I get a new phone or computer?

All FieldPulse data is housed on our secure servers. Simply logging in to the FieldPulse app on a new device will synchronize the new device to match your existing records, so you never need to worry about new devices.

Can FieldPulse tell me the location of my team members?

Yes, FieldPulse tags your team member location and timestamp when updating the status of a job record. This allows you to verify that they reached the worksite on time and completed the job as indicated.

Is there a way to store common invoice line items and equipment used for invoices to quick entry?

Yes, FieldPulse allows you to create “Invoice Item Templates” as a repository of your commonly used invoice line items. Store items such as labour rates, supplies, equipment, and more along with default prices, quantities, and descriptions. Create full invoices in just a few clicks.

Does FieldPulse integrate with Square Mobile Payments?

Yes, simply authenticate your Square account via the FieldPulse invoice administration settings and you can integrate the Square Register Mobile App into your customer invoicing workflow. Simply click “Collect Payment” on your FieldPulse invoice to automatically prepare a charge for your customer in Square.

What information do customer profiles manage?

Customer profiles not only allow you to store basic information such as First Name, Last Name, Company Name, Email, Phone Number, Address, and Notes, but they also store documents related to the customer, including job records, invoice records, customer comments, invoice PDFs, photos, and other files. Profiles show you entire customers histories and relevant files.

Can I create company customer profiles in addition to individual customer profiles?

Yes, FieldPulse allows you to specify whether the customer profile is an individual or a company, changing how the customer profile is displayed throughout the app. Both profile types still allow you to designate a primary point of contact and a secondary point of contact.

Can I attach notes and files to a job?

Yes, FieldPulse allows you to upload photos and include detailed notes on the job. This gives you the ability to supply your team members with all of the necessary information to get the work done. Team members can leave comments and upload important information like files and photos to a job on the go using the FieldPulse app.

Why should I use FieldPulse?
